Manufacturer Warranties and Protection Plans

Hi,

I bought my xbox 360 elite on 07/21/08 and did not purchase the Best Buy protection plan thinking I would be fine. Well I was until almost exactly a year and two weeks from the date of purchase. My console crashed and immediatelly got the RROD when I turned it back on. I believe that Best Buy covers the one year Manufacturers warranty. Mine is up, but I was wondering if you honor the 3 year RROD warranty? I just wanted to know if there was anything your guys could do for me before I send it back to MS to do something with it. As a fellow gamer, I know how frustrating it can be to have your gaming console out of commission, so I feel for you!  You are correct in your assumption that you must send your unit to Microsoft to cover the RROD issue.
