That may well be, but how many go to the trouble of even trying to find out if best buy has a forum or even care.

Considering you did that should tell you something. I will if your unsure stop in a store pick up a pamphlet and read it thoroughly. Also see what kind of personalities the Sale people and cashiers have and listen by the customer service desk to see how they handle returns. I know its not supposed to be a job when you want to shop at a store but if your worried about your purchase as well as getting a protection plan this might help in your decision. That might also determine if you might have a problem in the future. Certain stores from what I have read did seem to have bad customer service over other stores. I have been lucky and the ones by me have been excellent.

This is the complaint desk. You'll find complaints here. It is wholly unreasonable to judge a product, service, or business based on a forum meant for complaints about it. If you did that, you wouldn't be able to shop anywhere.

Everyone makes purchase decisions based on different things . I for one check feed back information such as negative feedback etc. And look at all reviews pro and con before buying a product, After looking at this site if a best buy representative or anyone else doesn't think they have a problem with their service plans all I can say is (WOW) again . I"m not bashing best buy. I do and will continue to shop at best buy and have spent over $1000.00 at best buy this Christmas alone. I however feel they have a big problem with their service plan agreements that need attention brought to them. Take care and God bless Craig (you judge a tree or product buy the fruit it bears)

But if you only look at the rotten fruit, you'll never eat from the tree.

Thank you, you are 100% correct if a a product is bad ( bad apple), Then You should look for another( tree ) You will find a good one if you look around , such as Mack extended warranties www.mach That has way better reviews and a whole lot cheaper. That is exactly what I did . And I suggest others to do as well. (P.S.... ) ignoring a problem doesn't make it go away I hope their are brighter people up the best buy corporate ladder making these discussion or they are in trouble. Craig

One more thing then I'll give this a rest. Just do a simple Google search (best buy warranties problems )you will get 22,100,000 replies yes that's over 22 million hits. How about those apples. Can't argue with the facts.Craig

If I do a search for "human," I get about half a billion hits. I guess the world population has been greatly exaggerated.
