warranty help

hello, hope someone can help me with my little problem,

the thing is, i bought an ipod touch 3g last year and i bought the 2 year warranty too, the people of best buy told me that warranty covers screen scratchs and water damage too.  My problem is that a few days ago my ipod fell to the sink full of water and you know the rest, now de ipod does'nt even turn on. So my question is, does the warranty covers that? it expires on january btw.

hope someone can help me, thanks a lot

Re: warranty help

The plans do state that they don't cover full water submersion. You can bring it in and have it sent off for rapid exchange to have it determined whether or not it will be covered so that you can get a refurbished model.

For the full information on what is and isn't covered in case you were wondering, you can find a copy of the Terms and Conditions here.
