Just my luck my 40GB with Spider Man 3 BD PS3 decided to die on me (YLOD) this weekend. Thankfully I did purchase the 2 year PRP at the time, and even more, it has not yet expired.
I have a concern though. The original receipt reads "PSP" followed by the SKU for the 2 year plan. However, it is stapeled to the Product Replacement Plan pamphlet. Will this be anything to worry about when filing my claim?
As for filing the claim, I'm not 100% sure how to go about it. I see my options are over the telephone or online. Though I have read on various message boards that owners have brought their console into stores and received a gift card in the full amount including tax to purchase a replacement. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could assist me in how I can go about getting this sorted out and getting a replacement PS3. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
