problems registering on black tie service plan portal

hey I was wondering, I bought a 42 inch insignia LCD tv back in aug 2009 and forgot to register with black tie so I go and try to do it today, plan number just barely visible (darn reciepts fade!!!!) I enter it (10 digit number on receipt with GSBTP in front of it) and windows pops up saying it cannot find my plan number and it also says an email has been sent to your address but I never get it...

 

is there a certain amount of time that passes where you can no longer register you black tie plan? I haven't been able to find any info about this.

To my knowledge, there isn’t a limitation on when you can register your service plan.  We are, however, aware of an issue where some service plans aren’t properly populating on the site.  There isn’t a workaround at the current time, but our site admin team is working on a solution and we hope to have the problem resolved soon.
