Disgusted... trying to get a refund for a charge I didn't even approve & I have to wait 24 to 48 hrs for them to investigate??? Investigate what, I did not want my trend micro anti virus program to be renewed. Salesman told me they would email me & ASK!!! me for my permission to use my credit card, after a YEAR!!! I purchased a new anti virus for Best Buy THIS Year???
So now I am standing in the refund line, waiting for them to call my number (they are to call me back) ![]()

it was purchased last yr, 08. renewal was 53.49.

Do you remember the date? After you swipe your card, you signed the signature pad. On the pad it does state that the software will auto-renew unless cancelled. You can cancel at anytime by calling 1-888-Best-Buy.

I bought new one last Fri at local retail store then on Sun got this unapproved charge.

I apologize for any confusion from our sales staff. They may have not been fully informed on how the process works. Are you no longer wishing to keep the antivirus current or are you wanting to change softwares?

Ahh, I understand. While the charge was not "unauthorized" since you authorized the auto renew at purchase, they should be able to refund after they investigate. The investigate is typical for most refunds that are done through our corp office.

I was told Fri evening, that the online version was cancelled, when I called the888# in the email. I was told to call my local store to find out what to do. Local store, told me to come in to buy a new one. Then Sunday got the email that my was c c was charged for the renewal. All I want is the amt taken off my credit card, simple transaction at any other refund line. I have the updated version.
