I purchased the 4th Gen Ipod Nano (black) and totally lost it!!! I did purchase the protection plan, which I thought covered me if the ipod was lost or stolen, and I would just have to pay the $50 deposit. Can someone help me out with this issue! I have the case still with the serial number on it to check on the insurance/protection plan I have. I purchased the ipod less than 1 year ago and I am lost without it. Some Please help me....

None of BB's plans cover loss or theft. Plans such as that would be described as insurance, and since BB employees are not licensed to sell insurance, that coverage cannot be offered. I am curious to know where you heard about this $50 deposit, as none of BB's plans require a deposit.
However, you are able to return the remainder of the plan for a pro rated refund. Simply bring your receipt into your local BB and they'll process the refund.

I figured the insurance was similar to verizon wireless with their insurance on phones. if it is lost/stolen/broken, you pay a $50 deductible. If I could find the receipt i will take it in. Thank you!
