I have an ipad 2 I bought in october with the $110 replacement program. It has a little crack in the screen can I bring it in in a week or two and receive the new Ipad 3? How does that work?

Most likely you will receive a rapid exchange refurb iPad 2 (since the iPad 2 will still be made, you won't be eligible to receive an "upgrade")

originally the guy at best buy that helped me told me that I would be able to get it as long as I have the plan, I have the 32gb model which they won't be making more ipad 2 models of so do you think I would have a better shot at getting the 3?

No. You'll get it replaced with an iPad 2.

As long as a store has iPad 2s in stock then that's what you'll get. With the GSBTP you get the comparable model...so if they sell iPad 2s still then you get them. Only if the store has ipad3 only would you get an iPad 3...so you'll have to wait a while..my guess is until April or May.

Okay so as long as I wait it out until they run out of 32gb iPad 2's then they won't try to give me a 16gb iPad 2?

They may have refurbished iPad 2s at that time for Rapid Exchange so don't go and break your iPad yet.

I noticed that my local best buy does not have any more inventory of iPad 2 32gb Wifi, do you think if I went in there this week they would still try to give me an iPad 2 or would they give me the new iPad?
