insurance policy problems...help!!

hello..recently at BEST BUY i bought a samsung messenger I for metro PCS in mid august of 2009 with the best insurance policy possible.. meaning if something happens to the phone (cracked screen,water damage,etc..) they will automatically replace it with no problem..well recently my phone has been having problems ,for example, turning on and off automatically, flickering of the messages, getting frozen, and alot more..its pretty bad..but i paid the phone with cash and now i cant find the receipt. how is it possible to look up the insurance i bought online and the receipt. if someone can please answer as soon as possible ill really appreciate it. thank you :] samsung

You have three options:

  • Go to your local BB
  • Call 1-888-BESTBUY
  • Wait for one of the Community Connectors who works here to find it for you. The earliest that could happen is Monday.

I am sorry to hear that your Samsung phone has stopped working properly. Being a frequent cell phone user myself, I would be concerned as well trying to get it fixed as soon as possible. A missing receipt can certainly hinder this process; however, I will be happy to see if I can assist in locating a copy for you.

With cash purchases, it can be difficult for the receipt to be located, however if a service plan was purchased as you are indicating, it may not be as difficult as most. I will need to gather some additional information from you however to assist with locating the receipt, though and I have sent you private message regarding this.
