I have a 4th generation iPod touch and the Home button seems to be stuck. I have to press very hard for the button to work. I haven't gotten the iPod wet or anything, so I don't know what's caused this problem.
If I bring my iPod in to a store to be repaired, will I have to have it sent away to be fixed, or is it possible to have same-day service (meaning I could drop it off, have it repaired in the store, and pick it up the same or next day)?

Hello nexler,
I’m sorry that you’re having trouble with your iPod Touch. We don’t typically repair hardware issues for iPods on site. We will instead ship you a refurbished unit in the same model and color as the original after you've checked your original in at your local Geek Squad. This usually takes about 3-5 days total, which is a lot quicker than shipping it off to a regional service center for a full diagnosis and repair.
I hope that this helps. We look forward to having you stop by so we can get your iPod up-to-speed. Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns along the way.
Cheers,

The process Douglas-BBY posted about is if you have Black Tie Protection.
Your original post OP didn't specify if you purchased that coverage so I wanted to make sure you didn't waste a trip.
