Hello all, this has almost become comical now, as I have been through 4 repairs for virtually the same issues with my iPod.
This all started back in October I believe, and I had the iPod in because it would not power on at all... After 4 weeks, it came back and had the Main Board replaced.
Second repair was for the screen malfunctioning and dead pixels throughout... After about 3-4 weeks it came back again, dead pixels...
3rd repair came back with replacement screen and new battery... About a 3 week repair this time, and still came back with dead pixels. Sent it in yet again..... This time there were notes added and an escalation for no lemon exchange.... was told it would only take about a week, and I would be looking at a new iPod! All sounds good, right@!? wrong...
So we have the 4th repair, it comes back just a few days ago, and no, it didnt take the week that I was told, but over 2 weeks.... They claim to have not repaired anything, but the deal pixels were gone... hmmmm, interesting! I take a little closer look, and the iPod seems to be more scratched than ever, and there is dust under the screen!
Keep in mind, that all of these repairs are back to back of eachother except for the 2nd and 3rd where I waited about a week because I really needed the iPod for a trip.
Anyways.... I just had it sent back in YET Again on friday, and the Agent treated me like absolute crap... I am getting really irritated with my experiences with the "Geek Squad" because they still have not lived up to their no lemon guarantee (when they have clearly repaired it 4 times( "not just a battery"), or sent me an actual worry, failure, glitch, broken free IPOD for a change!!!!
All that I ask, is that someone on here try and help to make this right for me, as a VERY LOYAL Best Buy customer..... I swear if It comes back again to the geek squad and has an issue, what then!!!! Can you just make it right for a change!
