Manufacturer Warranties and Protection Plans

I am curious how long it has taken others to receive their replacement iPhones when using the GSBTP.  I dropped mine off on Friday Sept 18. There was no update to my service order until Monday Sept 18.  Now it's Thursday Sept 24 and there has not yet been another update.  It's been awaiting shipment since Monday.  What gives?  Every associate I spoke to at Best Buy both in mobile and Geek Squad assured me that I would have a replacement in 3-5 days.  It's day 6 and I can't even get an update on when I can expect to receive it.

Is there a forum admin or mod that can check on the status of this for me? If so, please PM me and I'll gladly send you the SO#.

Calling the store does me no good since they only see the same updates that I can get on geeksquad.com it seems.

I've always been told 7-10 business days for turnaround time.

Good Luck, I took mine in on 9/10 and got it back yesterday, 9/24 and what they give you is a refurbished iphone.  Mine lasted about 1 hour before the display went out and I couldn't get it back on, I could call it and it ring but you couldn't answer it.  So now I have to take it back tonight and see if I have to wait another 2 weeks to get another refurbished one. 

When I took mine in I was told it would be 3-4 days. 

Also, when you call Best Buy to talk to them to see if it is in or the status they won't answer the phone 80% of the time.

I wonder if they are refurbished by Apple or Best Buy.  I like the Apple refurbished products but I have no experience with any products refurbished by Best Buy.  Based on your experience I'd guess that Best Buy refurbishes them but that's just a guess.

Thank you Dorothy.  Any help that I can get is much appreciated.  I use my iPhone to stay well connected to my colleagues and customers and now that I have you use this flip phone my response times are suffering.
