I bought a camera at bestbuy but did not buyany insurance. Can I come back and get insurance for it? Do I need to bring receipt or anything else?

Re: camera insurance

Which camera model is this?

If a Nikon DSLR... UV filters and a padded LowePro bag is good idea for insurance.

Re: camera insurance

Technically speaking, you have within 30 days to attach the Geek Squad protection.  They will need the receipt to be able to attach the program to the item.  Should definitely consider at least a 1 yr. plan on small digital cameras.  Recommend 2/3yr. programs on the DSLRs since most people aren't as likely to change out those often not to mention the costs of repairs on them.

Re: camera insurance

Hello linhle_hong,

Welcome to the forums!

Dval is correct.  You can purchase a Geek Squad Black Tie Protection plan within the 30 day Return and Exchange Policy.  Bring the camera and your receipt back to the store.  Our knowledgeable sales associates will be able to further assist you.
