So im thinking of buying an arcade xbox 360. Since my previous 360 stopped working only 7 months after I bought it I want to buy the black tie proctection thing for it. If my 360 doesn't work during the 2 year period what will Best Buy do? ( fix it or replace it??)

my question is quite simple:
is it possible to buy a product replacement plan for an xbox 360??

Yes. The GSBTP for the 360 covers mfg. defect, dust, heat, humidity, power surge, and normal wear and tear. If you need to use the plan, the 360 will be shipped to MS, and you'll receive a refurb in 7-10 business days.

but still, can best buy replace my xbox 360 for a new one if it doesn't work??

No. The one you get back will be a refurb.

Hey sfborjas,
Nokia’s pretty much covered all the basics, but if you’d like a more in-depth explanation of our service plan coverage for Xbox 360s you may wish to check out the following thread:
I hope this helps you out.
