Where did Geek Squad send my computer?

I took my Asus laptop to GS to have it fixed while under warrenty on Jan 29th. According to their tracking website it only took 2 days to get wherever they sent it and 1 day to fix. So it left from some place in Tennesse on Feb 2nd.

On sunday, Feb 5th, I got an email saying that geek squad has it and is working as fast as they can to get it back to me. But the tracking website still says it's being shipped.

Anyway, i'm wondering if it usually takes twice as long to get my laptop back as it did to send it. Or if it's at my local best buy waiting for something to happen.

Re: Where did Geek Squad send my computer?

Sounds like it was sent to Geek Squad City.

Did you call your local store to have them look into where it is and what info they can see on your repair?

Although I am employed by Geek Squad my opinions do not in any way shape or form represent Best Buy's Official stance on matters. My opinions are solely my own.

Re: Where did Geek Squad send my computer?

Hey Deacoon,

I’ve got some good news for you!  I was able to locate your account using the e-mail address you used to register for the forum and it looks like your laptop arrived back at your local store on Monday evening.  On-site techs haven’t had the chance to update the unit’s status yet, but you should be contacted once the check-in process has been completed.

If you have any questions in the meantime, I’d encourage you to stop by the store when you have the chance to do so.  You can also send me a private message by signing into the forum and then clicking on either my signature below or the letter icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
