I was assuming this fell from an extreme height due to you stating in your initial post that "my Canon 5D falls to its death on the 19th of jan", and that I show you advised the agents you spoke to on 1/19/2012 that the camera was damaged beyond repair.

A fall from five to six feet should be able to damage a 5D beyond repair, and that is why I was guessing that this must have fallen from an extreme height.

Your Accidental Damage from Handling coverage on this camera ended at 12am 1/19/2012, which of course means the damage would not be covered regardless of how it was incurred. I hope this answers any questions you might have for us.
