I have already bought a pair of Beats By Dre Studio Special Edition Silver Headphones about 5 days ago. I am thinking about upgrading to the $40 extended two year warranty. What i am worried about, is in all of the reviews of these headphones, they have snapped in half or have broken some how over time... If I get this warranty and my headphones snap or break somehow, will I get a new pair of the same headphones?

As already stated in the other thread you started on these forums (link above), the plan does not cover accidental damage to the headphones, only normal wear and tear.
Below is a direct copy of the terms from bestbuy.com, when you add the coverage to the headphones, and click the link for the full terms.
I'm not sure what you hoped to accomplish posting this twice when the question is answered.

My question... why would you buy something that is known to snap in half with normal use, when there are better options (sound and build quality) for less?

Has to be.
Just a quick google search, and I see lots of cases of them breaking within a week... a WEEK! Now, if you had been stretching/stressing them repeatedly from a lot of use, maybe I'd understand them snapping... but not after a week. That's just poor design...
I'm not saying it's the norm, or that it's as widespread as it seems, but I personally wouldn't be taking the chance...
