Manufacturer Warranties and Protection Plans

Hi. I am trying to find out when the "warrantyl renewal" time frame is? One person told me it was up to 30 days before expiration and another said 14 days after expiration. I tried searching but couldn't find info and trying to call the store results in 30min of hold time.

Basically my laptop 3 yr waranty expires in NOV and I had recently logged into the "portal" and saw it had an option for renewal. I would like to do this but I need to know when the last day I can do this is since it isn't cheap

Regrettably, Best Buy® does not offer a grace period for customers to renew their service plans once they have expired.  As such, we strongly encourage customers to renew their plan coverage prior to the expiration date.  In some cases accommodations may be provided, but they are only available at the discretion of the company that underwrites our renewal service plans.
