Hi!
Im in Puerto Rico, and some times the rules are little bit different here. So, I would like to know, can I bring my PC (except Apple or Dell / which I know I can) to Geek Squad to Validate my Manufacturer Warranty?
Let say I have a Toshiba with 4 months on MW, and it fails the HardDisk test. Can I bring it to GeekSquad under manufacturer warranty? Can they charge me something for this?
Thanks in advance

BB's PR stores are part of the US branch, so yes, you should have no problem doing that.

... and, that means, do I have to pay for shipping or diagnostic at Geek Squad?

As long as the problem is covered by your mfg. warranty, you shouldn't have to pay anything.

I have a HP from BestBuy (with receipt) 4 months old, which Fail the HDD Test. Geek Squad wants charge me $69.99 for diagnostic & shipping because I dont have BTP. Is this procedure correct?

I believe the $69.99 is only a diagnostic fee, and has nothing to do with shipping. When it's determined that the product is defective, you should get that money back. I'm not completely sure, though, so I'd wait for a Community Connector to respond and clarify.

Thank you for your patience. I spoke to my associate in Puerto Rico and he stated that they follow the same process as the United States stores. If the store is charging you a diagnostic fee, it probably means that the problem is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and they would charge you to fix it.
Some common problems that are not covered under manufacturer warranties are, physically damaged units (cracked screen, liquid damage) or software issues (viruses and so forth). I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
Thanks,
