Transfer Black Tie Protection?

I just recently cracked the screen on my tv so I am looking at getting a new one. The thing is, I still have around a year left on the protection plan I purchased. If I get a new tv through BB, can I use the remainder of the protection plan on the new tv?

Unfortunately no, though you can get a pro-rated refund for the time left on the plan and apply that towards the cost of a new plan for the new TV. To get this refund, you can go into your local Best Buy with the receipt showing the purchase of the plan. Customer Service can get this refunded to a gift card and you can apply that toward the purchase of the new TV with Black Tie on it.
