Re: TV Repair Time

[ Edited ]

Hey there! The two replies that were relocated were moved so the posters could get proper attention regarding their own issues.  One of the posts (symbiotsoul's I believe) had an exact duplicate that was assigned. I moved the post back, I did not realize that it was not visible anymore.  My apologies.

Re: TV Repair Time

Not busted, the poster can tell you that he did duplicate his posts, and as you can now see here, both posts are there!  I just moved it improperly, but not "hiding" anything.  :smileyhappy:

Thank you for pointing that out though!

Re: TV Repair Time

I'm just saying that it seems strange that the replies are there one day and moved the next.  Then one is deleted after it is moved.  When someone questions why it was deleted, you then undelete it.

Re: TV Repair Time

I can understand your questioning that completely, however it simply was a case of me moving the wrong post.  On our forums, we encourage our customers to create their own new thread describing their current concern, so that it can be addressed most effectively.  At times we will go ahead and move the posts to help facilitate that.  In this case, I saw that the customer had created his own post and I assigned it, but only after Elizabeth had moved his posting to a new thread.  It was simply an error.  However, the customer is being assisted, and that truly is what matters most imo.

Re: TV Repair Time

So Brad847,

Have you taken Best Buy up on the offer of a new tv?  When do you get it?  Or do you have other problems to report with repair?

John

Re: TV Repair Time

follow the post Re: TV Repair Time. I had replied to brads post but they moved it to it's own thread. The waiting game still lingers.

Re: TV Repair Time

So how did this post get read so many times?

I see a lot of the other posting only get read 100 - 300 times.   This one is over 8000 already.

Re: TV Repair Time

It has been read so many times because I have put the link to this post in several other forums and web pages. I just want everyone to know what they can expect to go through if they buy a TV from Best Buy and need it repaired. In all fairness to Best Buy they may not be any worse than any other retailer. I just see that the problems on their forum have one thing in common, a lot of time passes with nothing getting done. I can understand a repair taking a couple of weeks while waiting on parts but waiting 31 days before someone will even look at the TV is too long. Link it your facebook page too!
