Ok so it started 3 weeks ago when my 47" westinghouse went out due to a power surge. I called the next day and they scheduled me for an appointment about a week later. The guy came at the scheduled time and was very friendly and knowledgble. It took him about 5 minutes to figure out that the main circuit board needed replaced. He then went out to make a call to get the part ordered. Now I had read on here a lot of people saying parts took forever to come in so I was a little worried. He then came back and said it would probably take a week, but could take longer and schedule an appointment for a week later.
Well the day before the appointement they called and said the part was not there yet and they would call me back when it was in. Then I got a call almost a week later saying the part was not in and they had no idea when it would be here. I was thinking oh great it really is going to be forever till my tv is fixed. Then the lady said we had a couple options. I could either wait for the part for who knows how long, or take the tv in to best buy as soon as I wanted and pick out a new tv. So the next day I was at best buy picking out the TV I wanted! Ended up having to pay $50 extra, but I got a much better tv!
