I want to thank you for the effort you have put forth. Although it is less than a fraction of my own efforts you at least got the store to aknowledge that a new iphone was necessary and I'm sure eventually that will be the outcome. However I think you are being mislead and deceived much as I have been for the last 4 months. Yes that's right... it's been 4 months since I turned in my iphone for repairs and I STILL haven't gotten it back. According to the wireless manager they are not "ordering" me a new phone from Apple or some storage facility. They are trying to get me one from another store. The problem is, or at least this is what I'm being told, "none of the other stores want to come off any of their iphones." ARE YOU F*ING KIDDING ME?!?!?!??! I wouldn't have come off mine if i knew it was gonna be over 4 months before I saw another one!! BEST BUY should be overnighting a phone from wherever they have to replace mine and at least try to make up for the inconvenience of being without one for this long. I mean C'mon. Why are you guys letting this GM get away with this?!?!? First he tries to offer me someone elses broken iphone as a replacement. Then he tries to squeeze me for $50 to cover "HALF" of the store's losses. Now I'm having to wait until he can find another store in the REGION that is willing to "TRADE" him a white 16GB WHITE iphone for who-knows-what so that his store doesn't actually 'ABSORB" A loss. What a joke. This GM is running your Tallahassee store in the ground. He may make the numbers look good by screwing customers and pinching pennies but that doesn't last long in this town. The stores numbers are only doing good because Circ City and Rex closed down recently. You can bet your bottom dollar another company will be down the road soon and all the people this guy is ticking off (including myself) will pay a few dollars extra to support the competition. I'm filing a formal complaint with APPLE, and with AT&T so they know how their companies are being represented. I'm filing a complaint on the GM of the Tallahassee store with the Florida division of the BBB and the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce. This has gone on way too long. I'm also ordering a new white 16GB iphone from APPLE that will be here before you even respond to this e-mail and I'm going to demand that I be re-imbursed for it. I don't care if I have to start a picket line outside the store!!
