Funny, I bought the same TV as you in Feb of 2007. Bought the 4 yr warranty (luckily). Last week it stopped turning on. All that happens is the indicator light blinks red 7 times. Called them March 7th about the issue and they made an appt for today, March 17th for someone to come to my house to fix it. Well, no one showed!!!!!!! I took the day off specifically for this. Now I not only lost out on $$$$$$$$$$$, I still don't have a working TV!!!! All they say they can do for me is set up a new appt. That is completely UNACCEPTABLE to me. My whole day was ruined. I'm pretty sure I deserve some sort of credit, whether it be in store credit, or SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No one wants to help me out. Ridiculous.

If ya dont mind me asking, who did Best Buy send out to your home?  Was it the Geek Squad or was it a third party repair company?

If ya live in AZ, theres a company ive used i the past and will use in the future, there very professional and get it right the first time, plus they do the entire state from what they have told me, there name is R n R Electronics. If your in AZ ask for them.

Anyone would be upset if they took the day off of work to wait for a technician and no one showed up, I can completely understand you being upset that this happened in your case. I also feel like it shouldn’t be too much to expect a phone call the night before if our technician is not going to show up for your appointment, and I honestly apologize for you not being informed of this.

 

I did look into your repair, and I confirmed that the reason they didn’t show up for the appointment is that one of the parts needed to repair your TV hadn’t shipped from the parts vendor to the technician yet.
