Razer Naga, Return Policy, No Warranty

Hello Everyone, this is my first post on the BestBuy forums and I'd like to say in advance, any help is greatly appreciated.

Christmas of 2010 I received a Razer Naga as a present and I was ecstatic ( just that little push to make me "imba" xD)

Well today while playing World of Warcraft my mouse just completely stopped moving. So, alarmed I decided to start browsing different forums, razer's support website being no help of course. I proceeded to uninstall and reinstall the drivers, update the firmware and nothing... Now left and right click, mouse button 4 and 5, and the numpad on the side all work, the cursor just doesn't mouse. I came across a thread telling me that with high-end gaming mice the lens is so sensitive that if the smallest thing gets on it, that it will focus on it and stop moving.. I had no idea if that was true or not but I decided to clean it the way the person said, a q-tip with rubbing alcohol. To no avail. But after about an hour of waiting, I plugged the mouse in and it worked!! For about 5 minutes =( then it stopped working again.. Now I have the receipt and the original packaging and obviously the warranty is long gone..

So my questions are, is it possible for my to get a replacement at bestbuy for free, does bestbuy honor the manufacturer's warranty ( if so I'd have a 2 year warranty), and if neither of these things work in my favor could I give them my defective naga for in store credit and just add money to that to get another one?

PS: Sorry about the wall of text but I thought if I was as thorough as possible that it will help

Re: Razer Naga, Return Policy, No Warranty

You'd have 30 days to do a return / exchange normally. If the mouse is defective, BB can replace it under the MFG warranty at their discretion. Your best bet would be to go in and talk to a customer service rep to see what they can do for you. If BB won't exchange your product for you, you can always contact the MFG to honor their warranty.
