I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator with the extended warranty less than two years ago. After less than 10 months, the compressor on the freezer went out. I fought with Best Buy for over three weeks to get it fixed, when a repairman finally came out, surprisingly enough... he had to order the part. My family went without a refrigerator for a month. Now a year after that horrendous nightmare, I came home from work to find everything melted and the freezer blowing hot air again. I have tried calling customer service but cannot get through. I am already having palpitations anticipating the grief that I am going to have to go through to try and get this repaired. If I had a truck, I would haul this refrigerator right up to my local best buy and plant it in front of their door. My advice to anyone looking for a major appliance would be "Run as quick as you can to any other appliance store, as far away from Best Buy as you can get!" If you really feel the need to throw $1000.00 away, purchase your appliance at Best Buy but don't waste your time on the extended warranty, because it is a big waste of time and money!

Hi margaret,
Being without a working refrigerator for more than three weeks would be unacceptable for any family, and I can understand your last repair experience would cause you to be skeptical towards the prospect of another repair with our company.
I would like the opportunity to try and change your perspective of our services to a positive one, and I am sending you a private message to work towards a quick and easy resolution.
