Questions about the service plan.

I bought a vaio laptop from BB last September. I also bought the service plan because the employee told me that if anything happened to the laptop, I could just bring it to them and they'll replace it or fix it.

The screen broke due to an unfortunate accident. Now, what do I need to do in order to get it replaced?

Thank you.

Re: Questions about the service plan.

Does your plan include accidental coverage? If so, then just bring your laptop into your local GS counter and have them send it off. Remember, the service center will first try to repair the unit before replacing it. It will only be replaced if it's not ecomically feasible to repair.

Re: Questions about the service plan.

Hi hxa155,

I am very sorry to hear that an unfortunate accident caused your screen to break, bummer L

However, Nokia is correct, if you purchased one of our Plans that include accidental coverage you will just need to bring the unit, along with your original purchase receipt and Plan information, to any of our store locations to be sent off for repair or possible replacement.

Also, if your Plan does not include accidental damage, we can still send it off for you and contact you with a repair estimate before any work is done.  Please feel free to contact me by private message if you need any assistance with locating a store in your area or if you have any additional questions about this process.  You can send a private message to me by clicking on the “private message” envelope in the upper right-hand corner of the page, and then composing a new message to my username “SARAH-BBY”

Best wishes and have a great weekend!
