Re: Ps3...

A LOT more details are needed here to answer your question.

Why are you "sending" it back? What do you mean by "sending it back"? When did you purchase it?

Hey Fury,

Whether you choose to process an exchange at your local store or by mail, you’re going to want to package up everything that came in the original box – console, controllers, cables and all. It’s okay if you’ve thrown out the original box though, just as long as everything is kept together. While Best Buy® doesn’t necessarily need to have any of the software that came with the unit, we do need all of the actual hardware in order to process an exchange or issue you a gift card under your Product Replacement Plan (PRP) coverage.

Unfortunately, that means that you would not be able to keep the hard drive that came with your original console. As such, it’s strongly recommended that you either backup saved game files prior to sending your PS3 to us or that you seek an exchange and data transfer services at your local store. Remember though that copy-protected games, demos and other content you’ve downloaded through the PlayStation Network cannot be transferred in this way. Information on how to download these files again can be found
here.

Hope this helps you out!
