Nothing like being ganged up on by a bunch of losers saying they are BB employees or former BB employees.  Why not just let the people from BB respond to these posts if you are not being helpful?

BB stepped up to the plate and helped me out in some ways even though all these employees and former employees thought that BB should in no way make exeptions.  This site would be better off without them!

True, I just wanted to post it in case someone else runs into this problem, let them know they should keep fighting for the right things.

I am very glad that, after the unnecessary hassle, you finally ended up with an excellent resolution.

Your situation went from one extreme to the other.

First you were getting screwed over. Then you ended up with a Brand New TV that is much much better than your 4 year old TV ever was. And much better than you had any contractual right to expect.  Which does come as a surprise to me.

Which is another confirmation of the fact that it is usually only the "Squeaky Wheel" that gets the oil.
