My ps3 died on me about a week ago, and I'm sending it back to best buy by mail. There are a few questions I need answered ASAP. 1. One of my games was inside the ps3 when it died, and now it's stuck. Is there any way to get it out? 2. The instuctions tell me to send back all the accessories. My ps3 was bundled with Metal Gear Solid 4. Do I have to send that back as well? 3. Can I keep the hard drive, or do I have to send that back too? Thank you ^-^

It’s unfortunate to hear that your PS3 has died.   To answer your questions: we are unable to retrieve the game disk inside the PS3; everything you ship in is going to be sent out to our return center as is.

To address the next two questions you need to send the game and the hard drive back because they both came with the unit when you bought the item.  You have the available option to have the Geek Squad® back up your PS3’s data.  You can visit http://bbyurl.us/Gsvgbu and get the details on backing up your PS3’s hard drive with Geek Squad®.
