Im thinking of buying a PS3 but I want to know if Best Buy still has the Product Replacement Plan?

How does that plan actually works?

Say, i've been using the system for a couple months, then all of a sudden it freezes a lot during games, and sometimes ,not even read disc. So can i just go to best buy and would they replace it for a new one?

I've also read about the Black Tie plan. And read about, if the system still qualifies for fix and or exchanges, they will exchange it for a refurbished one and that, you'll only get a new replacement when you've used up your 4 repairs or something like that.
