I have had 3 bulbs blow on my samsung dlp in 8 months. This last time a raised a bit more of a stink over this. My PSP is up in two months. I wanted something done about the problem. The last bulb blew up in my tv!!! So today geek squad comes here. He doesnt even turn the tv on let alone look at anything!!! He orders parts and says its going to take up to 2 weeks! So tap dance around the problem untill my psp is up? The answer i got was....ready?....BUY ANOTHER PSP!!! WHAT? I paid $2000 for the tv and $400 for the PSP and the tv should work all the time! No one will listen to me at best buy. Just buy another PSP well if I had money I would just buy another tv somewhere ELSE!!! I dont want to wait another 2 weeks...My kids want the tv back...they are 4 and 2 they are to young to understand. I want to watch the CABLE i am paying for that I cant watch. I want store credit so I can buy something that works! Maybe its samsung! MAYBE ITS THE TV!!!!! I am close to getting the BBB involved and our local news! Oh yeah and best buy doesnt tell you the PSP isnt through them either!!! I cant even walk this piece of junk into the store...Its not even through them. They are pushing someone elses product on us that they cant back. and guess whos number is listed when you try to call the company its backed through??.....BEST BUY!!! I want action I want this problem resolved. I dont want another PSP I want someone to listen to me!

I agree. Why buy a service plan when they find all the reasons why they can't get it fixed after 5 attemps. Then when you request a replacement they say even thought they came out 5 times, it only count as 2 because they were not able to fix the problem. Now I'm waiting 3 weeks for parts to be sent. These plans need to be defined better so others don't have to go through what I'm going through. Frustrated with no resolution in sight.

On the 4th repairthey are supposed to replace the unit, an attorney may come in handy.

the psp covers only the first bulb, however that many bulbs in that little time could indicate that the electronics are bad in the tv, do you have it hooked up to a power center? that also will help the stability of the power.

You need to call the BBB and your State's Attorney General and file a complaint ASAP.

If the customer were always right, everything would be free.

That is not to say that the customer is never right. There are a lot of instances where they are but there are always those dishonest customers that wake up and ask themselves, "How much can I get out of this person/company today?"
