What is the most comparable product with the Nikon D3000 DSLR?  I do not think that Best Buy carries that camera anymore?

• the D300... a weather sealed prosumer camera?   Check out the D300s

Again the lowest entry level choice is the D3100.

• Keep in mind the D3200 with 24mp was just announced and it's available next month for around $700
• There is also the D5100 and D7000 which offer additional features with a little more than the D3100.
