Hey what’s up guys. This is my first post here so if this is the wrong place for my question sorry.
I purchased an hp dv7 laptop from best buy in oct of 08. Well a few weeks ago my dial up modem went out and after many hours on the phone and updating uninstalling an reinstalling im sure that the modem is just bad. Yes im still on dial up that all that available to me. Hp says they will send me a box to send it in for repairs. Witch I would rather not have to do if I don’t have to. Can I bring it to my local best buy (geek squad) for warranty repairs?? Iv always had a good experience with the geek squad guys so if I can just take it to them that would be better than sending it to tem buck too. I’m a photographer and I make my living off my laptop so I would like to keep it as close as I can. So what do you guys think I should do? Thanks in advance…
