Manufacturer Warranties and Protection Plans

My plasma tv crapped out on me after warranty ended but now they are offering an extended warranty due to class action lawsuit and i need the receipt.  I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me retrieve a very old receipt.  Order Date: 09/24/2008

You should be able to go into the store you purchased it at with the info you have and ask for a duplicate at the customer service counter, If online purchase call.
