I bought my computer from Best Buy around a year or so ago and purchased the in home plan because I live over an hour away from the store in case of repairs. Around 2 weeks or so ago I called the Geek Squad because the computer will not come on which I assume is the power supply. I was told by geek squad that I would be contacted within the next couple of days from an agent to schedule a time to repair my computer. I believe it was 5 days later I call back, im told they are working on the problem, and to call back in 3 days for an update!!! I call back, I was told they just put in the order the day before!?!?!
I was told to call back in a few days for an update if no one contacted me.............I call back...........finally I requested to speak with a manager...........i believe his name was Miguel or something Hispanic..........I lose my cool and tell him how this is unacceptable for 2 weeks to go by with no calls or repair, he agrees and was very nice on the phone and says someone will contact me that day or the next day about scheduling a repair time.............its been 3 days.............no phone call back. IF best buy will not honor their repair program why should i EVER step back into that store again. WHY did I spend the extra money on an in home repair warranty when I cannot get my computer fixed much less even a call back??????? Ive never had a problem with best buy but after this experience im not sure how I can ever shop with them again..........now to make another phone call....................

Repairs are rarely a welcome prospect, so I can imagine how disappointed you must feel to be without your computer. Although I do not know why you would have experienced any difficulties scheduling a service appointment, I apologize for any delays you may have encountered.

i contacted the computer repair service number best finally gave me and they said they were informed on the 25TH!!! of the problem and received the parts yesterday and should have someone out within the next two days to repair my computer...........i contacted best buy way earlier than that. I was also promised a gift card for my experience by the manager i spoke to..................i hope to get it........
