This, my friends, is why Best Buy can't just take the customer's word. As you can see above, there are customers that will do whatever it takes, including FRAUD and LIES, to get what they want.

I would recommend that you take your purchase receipt, valid photo ID and this iPod Touch back to your local Best Buy for additional services. They will have to inspect your iPod Touch and most likely from what you described, it may have to be sent off for service.
