I got my MacBook Pro fixed recently, and I asked if a new battery would be covered by my service plan. I was told it was, and that I could call Best Buy part search to get it ordered. After 3 calls, and countless redirections, I was unable to order one over the phone. I then went to the website and finally got to the part search, but found that the battery I need is no longer available. I was wondering if there is any battery for my computer that would be covered by the warrenty. I found one (not the original maker, but an acceptable replacement) but I really don't want to pay $130 when a battery shoud be covered by my service plan. Please help! I need a battery that lasts longer than one hour.

Hey SLeigh,
Like RealGeorgeW mentioned, your local store should be able to help you set up an order for a replacement battery. I’d be glad to work with the store on your behalf, however, so please make sure to check your private messages. You can do so by signing into the forums and then clicking on the letter icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
