Since the MacBook has been retired, What would happen if my computer were to need replacing? Would I get a refurbished one? Would they bump me down to the new Air or bump me up to the Pro?

No I was wondering what would happen if a situation were to ever happen. My brother has a MBP and he accidentally knocked a glass of water on his and they couldnt fix it so he got a similar MBP. I was just wondering since apple no longer makes my model what would happen if a situation were to arise where they couldn't repair my computer.

The policy states that you either get a comparable unit based on the specs of your current computer, not to exceed the original purchase price. If there is nothing comparable that doesn't exceed your purchase price, you'd get a gift card that has your original purchase price on it. In this case, I would assume that you'd get your original purchase price back on a gift card that you can use towards a new computer.
I would agree with this assessment. A Macbook Pro would be a substantial upgrade to the Macbook and would most likely be more expensive. A Macbook Air is just a different product and does not really have "comparable specs" to a Macbook. A Macbook Air would be comparable in value but not specs therefore a gift card in the amount you paid for your Macbook would be warranted.

Hello surrency1992-
I hope this finds you doing well and having a great week.
Like the post point out on this thread, in the event your MacBook needs to be replaced, it would be replaced with a computer of comparable technology not to exceed your original purchase price. You can view the specific terms and conditions by following this link. http://bbyurl.us/GSBTPTerms
I hope this helps! If you do have further questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
Respectfully,
