MacBook Pro PSP

[ Edited ]

I bought a MacBook Pro 2 years ago. The guy suggested me to get the PSP plan so it can be fixed when the notebook fails. On 07/18/09 I took it to the geek squad precinct and told the guy the issues: power adapter is not working, battery will not last very long, cdrom is bent, when screen closed left side still looks open, the screen has some kind of residue just on the left side. The guy gives me paper and tells me that i will get a call when the computer is fixed.

I got a call and on 08/08/09 I go to the store. The guy brings me the laptop and everything seems OK... I turn it on and I still see the residue on the screen!... I tell the guy the screen was not fixed, then he says that it was probably caused by accidental damage or something and if i want he can place it back to repair.. I tell him to do so since the residue was not caused by accidental damage, they were showing up on its own.

I ask for a cd to test the Superdrive (to make sure it was fixed). When ejecting the disc it did not ejected properly (1/4 of the disc was shown and the mechanism made sounds like "toc toc toc"... stucked...) so I tell the guy to add Once Again the cdrom is not working properly!.

Can you guys help me to make sure it is correctly fixed?? Im student of Computer Science so the MBP is vital for my everyday courses... also im from Mexico so it pisses me to travel to USA and get the computer not fixed :smileysad:...

Thanks for your attention :smileyhappy:

Re: MacBook Pro PSP

One of our Geek Squad Community Connectors would have to look into this for you. Give the a couple of business days to get in touch with you.

Re: MacBook Pro PSP

You're welcome! I hope we can get your Mac fixed properly, I know what it is like to have a superdrive that doesn't work right.

Hi Jose,

I've asked Dorothy, one of our Community Connectors, to look into this and offer her assistance.  You should hear from her in the next few days.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Adam's response should say 'weekends' not weeks....just so you know.
