If you bought it in May of 06, you aren't cutting it close, its expired. its more than three years later. Maybe you have a four year warranty? That would still be valid.... One of the community connectors can probably look you up and see what type of plan you have but if its for sure a three year then its gone.

The monitor had a 1 yr manu warranty and I bought the 3 yr from bb. So im assuming it was 4 yrs total. I wouldn't see the point on having the 3 yr cover ontop of the 1 yr that came with the monitor to only make 3 yrs.. But hey if it isn't covered ill just go buy a new one.

The plans run at the same time. If you have a three year plan, it is three years from the date of purchase.

that does not make much sence to do that . one it has a 1 yr warranty through the maker of the monitor yet im getting my warranty through bb. yeh... technicly what you are saying i bought a 2 yr since the manu warranty covers the first yr. i guess im gunna have to find the slip this weekend.

The Best Buy protection plan goes above what the manufacturer covers during that first year. Covers dust, heat, humidity, power surge, defects, all that stuff instead of just manufacturer defects.
