Bought my 40 inch LED Sharp Aquos TV at BB, it stopped working. I purchased the extended warranty. I called, BB referred me to So Cal Tech. They have had my TV for over 3 weeks and done nothing but give me the run around. After I filed a claim to get a replacement TV Jan5 now BB gives me the run around! I was sent to 5 different people today and the 5th person was actually the 3rd person I had spoke with! I have a V/M from BB stating if my TV wasnt fixed from the new parts today I would get a new TV. No one knows if the TV works, not even the owner of the repair place.

Today the owner of the repair company told me the parts didn't work and that he is going to recommend that I get a replacement TV. Still no word from Best Buy

If I had a dollar for everytime some Jack*ss told me 3-5 business days I would have 2 brand spanking new TV's! No TV since Dec 21st....do the math. There is nothing anyone can say to defend Best Buy at this point, they are in breach of contract and I still have no TV.

Generally, repairs can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks, and longer if parts are unavailable.

Hi tattoojunkie,
I can see why you would request this TV be replaced given how long it has been in repairs with no resolution. I looked into this today, and I show the TV was approved to be replaced today 1/17/2012.
I am sure you have been contacted with the information you would need to get your replacement TV, but I would like to make sure you have this information. I am sending you a private message. To check your messages you should log into the forum, and then click on the letter icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
Thanks for posting,
