Hello everyone! About 3 months ago I purchased a SOny Vaio VPCEA 24FM for about $700. However, recntly I have started to notice that the left button under trackpad has become unresponsive. It works if i press hard on it but I dont think that is very normal. The right button works fine, it is 100% responsive. I bought an ADH black tie warranty wih this laptop where the sales rep basically informed me that if anything happens to the laptop I will be covered. I know many people are having trouble with the warranty but I should be covered right? Also what will Best Buy end up doing? WIll they just exchange for a new laptop? Will I get store credit? Or will I be forced to wait for Best Buy's failed attempt to repair the laptop?
Thanks in advance...

They will send the computer out for repairs.
You say that "I know many people are having trouble with the warranty" but you're talking about this forum, right? This forum is set up to handle customer complaints and the people having trouble and posting here are those that have complaints but they are in the small minority. Typically the repairs and services go quickly and easily but we don't hear about all of those.
So I wouldn't judge Geek Squad's services by reading this forum because you are going to get a VERY skewed and biased view which is NOT typical of Best Buy/Geek Squad's services.

It's unfortunate the computer will have to be sent in especially since I have some urgent business matters to attend to. It's kind of lame that the only reason I got the warranty in the first place because sales rep continues to tell me "if anything happens you can just come here and swap out for a new one."

If you have urgent tasks to be done, I'd recommend using a mouse until you are capable of having a period of time to send it out. Hopefully that will help you out a bit.
