I was curious if the Black Tie Warranty covers damage to front load washers from hard water? A member of the Geek Squad said it does but I want to be sure before purchasing the warranty. Thank you!

I can certainly understand you wanting to make sure purchasing a Geek Squad Black Tie Protection (GSBTP) plan for a washer would meet your expectations, and hopefully I can get you the answers you’re looking for.

A GSBTP plan does not cover damage to any type of washing machine. As long as the manufacturer does not prohibit the use of hard water in the specific washing machine, any defects that occur while using hard water should be covered by a GSBTP plan. I hope this helps.
