It worked like a charm!

I know most people come here to carry on about how bad the Best Buy service experience is or was.  Well, not me.....I had a very good experience and I wanted to share it with all of you.  I bought a new refrigerator and the 5 year PSP warranty that has the "lemon" replacement clause in it.  Well, sadly it turned out my refrigerator was indeed a "lemon" and after 4 service calls for the same thing, Best Buy sent out a Geek from the Squad, who wrote up the replacement paper work, which was approved 4 days later by a manager, and I was sent a replacement document.  I went into Best Buy, showed the replacement document to the sales guy, and voila!  I now have a brand new refrigerator!  I know lots of you nice people haven't had this type of experience, but I wanted to let you know it is indeed possible.  I encourage you to be patient, be persistent and be polite.....it sure worked for me!

It's good to hear that some people are having good experiences. Sounds like you were given correct expectations when you got your PSP. Most problems here result from people being sold the PSP with the wrong expectation.

Congratulations.  Glad to hear of a good customer service experience.  Wish I was so lucky.  We've had nothing but bad.  Seven service calls, 4 door latches, one motherboard replacement and they still aren't honoring the lemon policy replacement for my very expensive front load Frigidaire washing machine.  Another service tech coming today.  Wish me luck.
