I want to buy an Xbox 360 and I would like to know if the warranty for the product is valid in Brazil, or can i purchase a special warranty?

Believe it or not, this issue has never come up.
Normally, in the US, if you get the 360 and the GSBTP, and it fails, you'd bring it to a store and have them send it out, and you get a refurb back. I'm not sure how it would work internationally, because they can't ship a product back to you. For more information, you can either call 55 800 556 56565, or wait for a Community Connector to respond.

Yes! Our Geek Squad® Black Tie Protection coverage allows for international service claims to be placed on an Xbox 360. You would just dial the Brazil country exit code, which may vary depending on which company you are using to make the call, then the US country code (1), then 800-556-56565. That gets you in touch with our International Service department who then can let you know how to handle whatever issue seems to be happening. Feel free to visit here for more help with calling internationally.
I cannot say for sure but I don’t believe Microsoft’s manufacturer warranty on the Xbox 360 has international coverage.
