I have an ipod touch 8 gig 1st generation and it won't connect to wifi and the battery doest

Charge it was refurbished cause my other ones touch screen stopped working I have a

three year psp.i needed to know what the three year psp is and if they couldn't fix it would

I get a new one or a refurbished one.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having problems with your iPod Touch.  I know how much I enjoy my iPod and having it fail would be frustrating indeed.  You ask good questions about your service plan coverage, so here goes:

Your PSP, or Performance Service Plan, provides extended coverage in the event that it fails due to manufacturer defect or certain other causes, such as internal heat, dust, normal wear and tear, etc. 

My recommendation would be to take your iPod to your local Best Buy® store’s Geek Squad® counter and have the unit sent in for service.  It’s also possible for you to participate in the iPod Rapid Exchange program where you would receive a refurbished unit (it sounds like you may have done this once) instead of waiting a longer period for repairs to be completed.  Either way, we’ll get the unit taken care of for you so you can get back to enjoying your music!  If the unit can’t be repaired, or if the unit satisfies your PSP’s No Lemon clause (three completed repairs and the diagnosed need for a fourth) the unit will be replaced with a new product.
