Hello kmw1996,
I’m disheartened to hear that you’ve had such trouble with your iPod. I know that I’d be frustrated by these circumstances and I wouldn’t like having to be without my iPod! I’ll be happy to bring you up to date on No Lemon coverage under your protection plan.
If you have had three qualifying repairs – a repair is qualifying if hardware has been replaced – and your iPod is diagnosed with the need for a fourth, Best Buy® will replace the defective iPod with a new one of comparable technology. Your iPod Touch will have to be sent in to our service center for diagnostics, but once complete, and if the requirements are met, you’ll be invited to your local store to select a replacement.
As a point of correction to Nokia’s response, because the battery in an iPod is not a user accessible part, any battery replacement on an iPod is a qualifying repair toward replacement under the No Lemon clause.
My recommendation would be to present your iPod Touch for service at your local store at your next convenience. Then, if you’d like, I’d be happy to review the repair history for your iPod and work with the service center to complete their diagnostics as quickly as possible. If you’ll send me a private message that includes your previous service order numbers, I can review the history and give you further details on what to expect. To send me a private message, click on my user name and then on “Send this user a private message” under Contact on the next screen.
Thank you for bringing your concern to the forum! I look forward to working with you.
Sincerely,
 | John | Community Connector | Best Buy® Corporate | | |
