Manufacturer Warranties and Protection Plans

I wanted to know it the insurance I bought on my daughters digital camera, which was only a week ago, is going to transfer over to the replacement camera I am getting?

You'll need to provide some more details. Why are you getting this replacement camera? How is your daughter's camera and yours related?

I got her a new camera, bought the insurance on it..... she dropped and broke the screen just two days after getting it.  I brought it back to best buy, they were going to send it out to be repaired.... They called me today, 4 days after dropping it off and told me they were going to give me a  new camera to replace the one that was broke....  I was wondering if the insurance I bought on the camera, just about a week and a half ago, is going to be transferred over to the one they are going to give me for replacement.....or do I have to buy more insurance on this one ?

Normally, if the camera is replaced within the mfg. warranty, the GSBTP plan continues. However, because it is being replaced due to damage, this fulfills the plan, meaning you'll need to buy a new plan on the replacement camera.
