Installation damage

I recently on Tuesday 9/20/2011 had a car radio installed on my vehicle and received the same day however I did not notice the damage done to the vehicle until yesterday I have not had the opportunity to go back due to work.  The damage left in my vehicle appears to be by a heat or some type of cutting device used during the installation I have burn marks on my passenger seat and on the passenger side of the shifter obviously I could not see these damages being the driver.  What is the proper procedure I have sent an email earlier and still do not have a response.  I would think being a preferred customer I would receive a more prompt response.  I am in need of direction here.

Re: Installation damage

I would start by calling the store and speaking with the Autotechs there that did the work and let them know about the damage.

Although I am employed by Geek Squad my opinions do not in any way shape or form represent Best Buy's Official stance on matters. My opinions are solely my own.

Re: Installation damage

I will do that first thing tomorrow morning.  If they don't take responsibility what would be the next step? store manager? My problem is that I do not have the time to be going after one person and then another and then be referred to customer service then corporate just a hassle.
